We were delighted that Professor Eilis Ferran, who was Cambridge's first ever female Professor of Law, came with a student advisor and a press officer to talk to 50 of our Year 12s about aspiration, both in general, and in terms of applying to an institution like Cambridge. She shared about her own journey from a family that had seen noone go to university, and about the huge opportunities there are in life for anyone who is willing to have a go.
