Week B Commencing 25th February 2019
Message of the Week
Welcome to week 23
A number of students from the school’s Springboard group recently attended a multi sports festival hosted by Hunts Schools Sports Partnership. The team worked in pairs, competing in many different adapted sports such as Polybat, Table Cricket, New Age Kurling and Boccia. When the results were calculated, we had two winning pairs: Year 8’s Bryce Tuck and Jacob Whittington took the silver medals and Maeve Pritchard and Gabriella Simonis from Year 7 took the bronze medals. They all had to show great teamwork and understanding during the games.
... was amazing! Well done to everyone involved:
Golden Antler Winners
Each week, the tutor groups with the highest number of 5s (for great attitudes to learning) are awarded a Golden Antler trophy. Following the award of the trophy, the tutor arranges for a celebratory photograph to be taken. It is then displayed around school.
In the last week before half term, the Lower School Golden Antlers winner was …
… 7W1. Well done again to the Wylton students who earned the highest number of 5s.
And winner of the Middle School Golden Antlers was …
… 11W2 – well done to Wylton again – and to year 11 for taking top spot for the first time this year.
