The trip was packed full every day with important aspects of the History curriculum. On day one they covered Germany's early History visiting the Tiergarten, Bismarck statue, Victory Column and the Kaiser-Wilhelm Gedaechtniskirche. After dinner they did a night tour of the Brandenburg Gate and surrounding area.

Day 2 was Museum Day focusing on the WW2 era - they started at the Berlin Story Bunker, then headed to the Topography of Terror exhibition and the Resistance Memorial museum.

Day 3 they visited Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum in the morning, then spent the afternoon at the Reichstag area, which included the memorials to the murdered Jews of Europe, the Soviet War memorial and heading up to the Dome of the Reichstag to admire the views of the city from the roof.

Day 4 focused on the Cold War era - we visited the East Side Gallery which is on the longest stretch of the Berlin Wall that is still standing and also went to Checkpoint Charlie.
