Reception Opening Hours

Reception is located next to the site office bungalow and is open from 8.00am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.00am-4.00pm on Friday.  Please sign in at the main Reception where you will be provided with a visitor badge which you must wear whilst on the school site. Please do not go onto the school site or into the school buildings without an appointment and without signing in at main Reception.

Events Out of Hours

If you are visiting Hinchingbrooke School for an external event, it is important that you do not walk across the school site without having signed in beforehand. For events occurring after 4.00pm, please ensure that you have been provided with details of where to go when you arrive on the school site. Please ring on the main school number if you require any assistance. 

Disabled Access

There is parking for disabled visitors at the front of the school within 50m of reception and the school site is accessible for wheelchair users.  However, visitors with special needs are advised to discuss these with the person they are booking the appointment/meeting with or alternatively call please call the main school number.

Car Parking 

Whilst we have three main car parking areas, we cannot guarantee that there will always be spaces available.

Parking & Permits

Please park with courtesy to others and if you have a permit please display it as regular checks are carried out.  You will be asked to provide your vehicle registration number when you sign in at reception so that you can be contacted in an emergency.  You can leave also your contact telephone on view to help us. Overflow parking is permitted in the bus bay areas between 9.15am and 3.00pm pm only. Please do not leave your vehicle there outside this time as it will obstruct the school buses.

Alternative Parking

If there is no parking available there are two pay and display car parks at Huntingdon train station both within a short walk of school. Alternatively there is another pay and display car park at Hinchingbrooke Country Park (opposite hospital).
