This week our Reps from Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 attended Hinchingbrooke's first student leadership conference led by Head Students Maddie and James, as well as the Senior Student team. The senior students devised a range of training activities on public speaking, problem-solving and leadership outside school and discussions took place around how we can improve our school, our school values and politeness. All the activities were planned and led by the senior students, who did a fantastic job of engaging all the student leaders. Indeed, there was a fantastic buzz throughout. As well as providing training, the morning was also an opportunity to spot potential school council candidates. The students have certainly made this process tricky as they were all so impressive on the day! Students selected for the school council will be notified in due course, and we look forward to sharing their work with you later this term.
