  • Woodgreen Animal Shelter Community Dog Roadshow - Wednesday 30th January 2013

    On the 30th January we are hosting a Community Dog Roadshow, run by Woodgreen Animal Shelter. This is for Hinchingbrooke staff, students and families.

    It will be held from 3:40 – 5:30pm and will be in the OMD (Old Middle School Dining Room).

  • Friends of Hinchingbrooke House (FHH) Dinner and Talk - Sunday 3rd February

    The FHH warmly invite you all (and guests) to their annual talk and dinner (details below). The talk will be given by Roger Mitchell (ex-Hisotry teacher, curator and head of sixth form at Hinchingbrooke, now a lecturer on country houses). He will be looking at the crisis faced by country houses after WWII, explaining how Hinchingbrooke went from being the home of the Montagus to a school. He is an excellent speaker and it promises to be a fascinating talk. The talk is followed by dinner in the Assembly Room with topical readings between courses.

  • Model Making and Gaming Club - Cancelled Today

    For Attention of Modelling & Gaming Club

    Due to the predicted snow fall for today we have decided to cancel the 'model making/gaming club' normally held in room 186 in the DT Dept. Students will be informed this morning in form time. They will be advised to use their usual method to travel home from school but will be given the opportunity to telephone home if necessary.

  • Year 9 Exams Information Booklet

    This year we have made a change to the structure of the year 9 exam week. This has included the addition of some subjects as well as extra assessments in others. There are several reasons for this change. Firstly we believe that this will increase the rigour of our assessments and mean that we are better able to accurately measure student’s attainment during key stage three. Secondly, exam boards have now been instructed to move to linear exams at Key Stage 4.

  • Auditions for “Bugsy Malone” School Production

    Auditions will take place on Wednesday 9th January after school from 15.30 – 17.00.
